We met up with Raye Levine at Sky Rink in Chelsea to photograph her at skating practice. Raye is a competitive-level figure skater and member of the Ice Theatre of New York, a 30-year-old non-profit that elevates ice dancing into performance art. Not only that, she’s an accomplished actress (an ensemble member of The Barefoot Theatre Company) and holds a degree from The Cooper Union in architecture. Her artistically diverse background reveals deep talent and creativity that’s equally matched with discipline.
