Ongoing personal series of portraits of New Yorkers in their homes.
For me, this kind of project is about listening, paying attention and finding the moments that are revealed by my collaborators. Since I don’t see the space before the shoot, I work with the available light. It’s a very personal process with the intention of conveying a sense of the person, in their space, in that moment. I’ve had the good fortune to work with people like Sylvie, who understands what I’m trying to achieve and happily participates in the process.
